Now that July 2022 has passed we can take a look at how the average price per square foot has changed from 2021 till now.

In July 2021 the average price per square foot was $1.88 while in July 2022 the average price per square foot was $1.86 which is 1.1% less than the year before.

This marks the second month of 2022 where the average price per square foot was lower in 2022 than it was in 2021. It would appear that rates have started to plateau since the all time highs in 2021, especially due to a recession on the horizon.
