Reporter, Indianapolis Business Journal
Orr joined IBJ in 2016. She’s been a full-time reporter since 1995 and worked at four newspapers in three states, covering business (among other beats) for some portion of all of those jobs. She spent 10 years at the Evansville Courier & Press, where one of her most memorable experiences was covering the 2011 failure of Integra Bank and its subsequent takeover by Old National Bank. Before moving to the Midwest, Orr worked in South Carolina and North Carolina. She grew up in Florida, has seen both gators and manatees in the wild, and in younger years visited Orlando’s theme parks too many times to count. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, cooking and travel.
