Matt has been a Fool.com contributor since 2013. He has a bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies and an MBA from Liberty University. After working on the business side of a couple of non-profit organizations, he was finally able to follow his passion for investing when he started writing for the Fool's blog network. Aside from investing in stocks, including many publicly-traded REITs, Matt has also invested in several crowdfunded real estate opportunities. He and his wife currently split their time between Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Charleston, South Carolina with their two cats
